Description
Dakine Scout Mitts in black are available in a range of sizes. The Scout Mitt is the perfect combination of functionality and convenience. It’s practical, but gutty enough to perform like a feature-driven tech mitt. A touchscreen compatible removable Storm Liner glove is made of stretch fleece. The DWR treated shell is made of a tough nylon/poly blend, with a Rubbertec palm for added durability and grip. While a DK Dry™ insert adds a waterproof layer between them both. Throw the Scout in your kit, and when you get to the mountain you’ve got a warm weather fleece glove, a wet weather gauntlet, or a 1–2 combo that gives you the best of both, plush insulation and durable protection

DAKINE’S WARMTH INDEX:
Dakine offers different gloves and mitts for different conditions, their heat index provides a warmth comparison between different models. Rated from 1-5 based on the amount of insulation and lining materials, 1 rated gloves are designed for warmer weather conditions or riders who require less insulation, 5 rated gloves are the warmest styles for the harshest conditions, and for those who need maximum warmth.
(Note: In addition to the added warmth a mitt design provides, Dakine mitts all have added insulation over their glove counterparts and therefore will always be warmer.)
CARE:
Caring for your ski/snowboard gloves is important as they generally have a hard life and it will make them last longer. Therefore all Dakine non-leather gloves can be washed by hand or in a washing machine. Once clean gently press out excess water before hanging them up to dry. We do not recommend turning the gloves inside out for cleaning and when possible, allow gloves to dry at room temperature rather than placing them near a heater or in a dryer as this may damage the materials.
