Description
The Skimender light duty ski and snowboard base repair tool is essential if you want to repair the base of your snowboards or ski’s yourself without needing to use a naked flame.
The kit includes the Skimender Light Duty Ski and Snowboard Base Repair Tool, a Skimender Scraper tool for removing excess material, a drip mat, 10 clear repair rods, 10 black repair rods and a carry case to hold them all in.
P-tex candles can be tricky to use and it can be hard to get a good finish especially when using clear sticks as they can discolour if not heated enough, you do not get any of these problems with the Skimender light duty repair tool.
It works in a similar way to a common glue gun, the repair material is heated to the correct temperature and can then be squeezed onto the base where required with the use of an adjustable trigger.
It is ideal for making semi permanent ski and snowboard base repairs at home.
It comes with an illuminated on/off switch for easy usage indication and safety.
It has been specially designed with a flat nozzle, making it easier to dispense Skimender repair stick material into damaged areas.
It uses specific Skimender Repair Rods – 10 x Clear & 10 x Black are included with this item, more can be purchased separately.
