Description
We have a used Arbor Abacus snowboard 163cm that is in good condition for its age, there is plenty of life still left in it. There are the usual marks on the top from where the bindings have been mounted and some light scratches and chip to the nose (see photos) probably sustained in lift lines.
This is a cambered, directional, freeride snowboard and would suit a rider of between 150-210 lbs.

The Arbor Abacus Snowboard is a new-breed taper-tail for fluidic, backseat, surf-style riding. The Full-Length Wood Topsheet of the Arbor Abacus Snowboard is an exclusive technology that creates a one-of a-kind aesthetic, while improving performance. During construction, resin locks the dense wood fibers in place, producing an additional composite layer that allows increased durability and delivers a more responsive ride. The Abacus topsheet is made from sustainably harvested lacewood and the unique Paulownia Wood Core is ultra-lightweight and made from a 50/50 blend of paulownia and poplar. Paulownia is an ecologically cultivated, balsa-like species. Unlike balsa however, it has the strength of traditional core materials, which allows Arbor to deliver maximum weight reduction with no loss of durability.

SINTERED BASE- An advanced UHMW sintered compound provides unmatched durability, wax absorption, and speed. GALLIUM-INDIUM ADDITIVE- Metallic elements that, when combined and blended into a base material, help eliminate the static electricity generated between board and snow. Static electricity reduces acceleration and speed. Both Gallium and Indium also conduct heat from a base, improving friction ration and further increasing speed in all types of snow.
STRUCTURN FINISH- StrucTurn is an advanced base finish that builds structure into a board’s running surface, significantly increasing turn-ability and acceleration. The StrucTurn finish works like stone grinding, it prevents a vacuum from forming between the board and snow. Unlike stone grinding however, a StrucTurn finish creates a smoother, more effective riding surface, with a consistent, scientifically proven flex pattern.
