Description
We have a second hand / used Ride DH snowboard, 159cm in length which is in OK condition for its age as it has spent many years just gathering dust not being used.
The top has the normal marks from where the bindings have been and a minor chip to the nose (see photos), probably from lift lines.
There is one small ding to the edge near the nose (again see photos), this is pretty minor and should affect performance. The base has some light scratches but all these are very minor and overall it is in OK condition with plenty of riding left in it.
We have also given this board a fresh hand wax with all temp wax so it is ready to go as soon as it arrives and it one less thing to sort out and pay for before your next trip. Snow and Rock will charge £40 for a service like this.
Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Year: 2006
Condition Score: 2.5/5
This is a cambered twin, freestyle snowboard with medium flex that would suit a rider of between 140 and 190lbs.

TWIN PARK ATTACK! With a reputation as the “Ultimate Park Ride,” it’s easy to understand why just about everyone on the Team, including Justin Hebbel and Darrell Mathes, is seen on a DH at some point throughout the season – even on backcountry kickers. Super light and ultra technical is what the DH is all about with less spin effort and easier recovery when landings are slightly off. And with Ride’s indestructible Cleave Edge, this board holds up to every rail session imaginable.
Product Details
45° THIN CON-Tapering the core and designing a deeper edge angle makes the Thin Con more assertive and honed to Rider input. Tapered tips and tails lower swing weight for greater aerial control, and the 45° angle makes certain the edge will grip into the snow, keeping turns consistent in the hardest of conditions.
RADIAL SIDECUT- A Radial sidecut is created from a segment of a single huge circle, meaning the arc you start your turn with is the arc you finish on. This enables you to make very smooth, predictable turns.
RESPONSE CORE- Tuned to give full terrain feedback and maximum snap, the Response CoreTM is refined with Carbon stringers that are lighter weight [than fiberglass], provide more pop for ollies, and allow quicker recovery onto the edge after landing big airs. A lighter-weight wood laminate rounds out the Response.
TRIAXIAL TOP & BOTTOM- A versatile, high-end blend of glass consisting of three strands at 0°, 45° and -45° stitched together to complete a web around your board to increase torsional stiffness and response.
TRUE COLOR SINTERED- Ride’s True Color Sintered Base is harder, more durable, and faster on snow due to a lower coefficient of friction. Also, the pores in sintered bases hold onto wax better than extruded bases so there’s more time between tune-ups.
