Description

The Yes. Typo Snowboard is built on the Yes. Basic foundation but includes a few extra features for a more well-rounded all-mountain masher. The slight stance setback combines with the CamRock profile for an ultra-versatile board you can ride from the terrain park to the upper mountain and back again, ideal for more aggressive riders. Plus, Yes. includes their Sintered Spec base for speed through the flats. Turn your game up a notch and opt for the Yes. Typo Snowboard!

Rocker Type

CamRock 4-4-4 – Rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot.

Flex

Flex: 4 – (1 Soft – 5 Stiff)

Shape

Directional Twin

Underbite – Underbite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in a way that enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This increases the edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy in the areas where you need it – from the binding out and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.

Core

Full Poplar – Yes.’s baseline core for tip-to-tail woodcore snowboard construction. A core that strikes a predictable balance between durability and consistent flex and lightweight feel.

Laminates

Biaxial Glass

Base

Sintered Spec – This is the term Yes. uses for the grey zone many companies play in. They call it Sintered Spec because of both its hardness, chemical and its on-snow performance properties, which are very close to true sintered — but it is formed using the extrusion process. How? The raw material is actually pre-consumer recycled (meaning it never left the factory) sintered base material. So while the heating and extrusion process has softened it slightly, it’s still much harder than true Extruded.
