Dakines Heli Pack 12L ski and snowboard backpack is one of the best known and most sought after backpacks in their range. Specifically designed with skiers and snowboarders in mind it has some special features that will prove helpful for a day on the mountains.
It has external carry straps which allow you to attach your bulky gear – such as your snowboard, skis or snow shovel – to the outside keeping your hands free. It also has a rescue whistle on the sternum strap, a fleece-lined pocket for your goggles and an extra sleeve for your camelback/hydration system.
This bag can be used with a Spine Protector which can be inserted in to help absorb and displace hard impacts. The web belt and hip wings also help to divert weight away from your back and onto your hips.
